ACCA exam fee increase cancelled for September 2020

ACCA has made the decision not to increase its exam fees for the September 2020 session, unveiled in February.

ACCA exam fee increase cancelled for September 2020

If any student has already booked a September exam at the previously state higher price, they will now receive a credit to their account with the difference.
ACCA is also reminding students that those committed to continuing their studies completing the Ethics and Professional Skills Module might be a good use of time.
PQ magazine had been talking to ACCA about our concerns over the price hikes.
ACCA run different price bands (A, B and C). However, the standard exam fee for Applied Skills in the UK, for instance, was due to go up from £120 to £130. For the SBL the standard fee would have broken the £200 barrier for the first time  – a rise from £199 to £222. And, the cost of sitting the Strategic Professional (options) was due to go up from £155 to £173 (again at the standard entry rate).
So, what are the September 2020 rates now for UK (price band A) sitters:
Applied Skills
Early entry £114
Standard entry £120
Late entry £307
Ethics & Professional Skills Module
£70
Strategic Professional (essential)
SBL
Early entry £188
Standard entry £199
Late entry £321
SBR
Early entry £147
Standard entry £155
Late entry £350
Strategic Professional (options)
Early entry £147
Standard entry £155
Late entry £350
  • The Early entry process close on 11 May and standard entry closes on 27 July.
